The decision to start therapy can take time. It is often a layered process. It takes courage, especially for people carrying relational trauma. Building a relationship with a therapist, who is a stranger, can feel intimidating. I hear and see you. That is why we work at your pace. Whenever there is a need to challenge you, I will do it gently.
